Chugginton is an action based, energetic and vibrant TV series for pre-schoolers which, follows the adventures of three young trainees - Wilson, Brewster and Koko - as they learn to ride the rails. During their adventures, they interact with a host of railway friends from the oldest puffing steam engine to the latest sleek bullet train, all of whom guide and encourage the trainees as they sharpen their skills.
Featuring compelling story-lines, postive messages, contemporary animation and intreaction entertainment, Chuggington offers a unique connection between it's characters and target audience.
Chuggington has entertainment and enjoyment at its heart but embedded within each story are positive life lessons centred on personal, social and emotional development: inspiring teamwork, confidence, independence, responsibility and learning the true meaning of friendship.

Wilson is a lively multi-function engine with oodles of enthusiasm. This eagerness isn't always matched by his ability to pay attention to instructions. He's a bit of a scatterbrain and as such often finds himself in deep water.
Wilson sometimes gets frustrated that he's not as strong as the other engines, but he just hasn't fully understood his own special talents yet. He has all the contradictions of a young child, with carloads of confidence in his everyday surroundings unsure when presented with something new or unfamiliar. His catchphrases include "it's Training Time"! and "Lets Ride the Rails!".

Brewster is a solid diesel-electric train built for heavy loads. He doesn't always understand his own strength, which can make him a bit awkward and clumsy.
Brewster is a tower of strength.
He is sensible, very dependable and can always be relied on in a crisis. One of his catchphrases is "Honking Horns!"

| Koko is a fearless, streamlined female engine built for high speed. Unlike the other engines, Wilson and Brewster, Koko is completely electric and draws her power directly from the tracks beneath her.
Koko loves going flat out, whooshing ahead of the others, and has yet to learn that speed isn't everything. Koko is very confident and loves to explore and have adventures.
Although mischievious, Koko is well meaning and will always own up, apologise or try to put things right once she understands the implications of her actions.
Her catchphrases include "Chugga Chugga Choo Choo!", "Can't Catch Koko" and "Traintastic".
