In the Beginning
John Hales and Christine Nicholls formed Golden Bear Products in 1979 with a mission to provide well designed quality products that exceeded their customer’s expectations. Today, with over 25 years of successful trading behind them, Golden Bear is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of quality and reliable toy products and continues to adhere to this mission.
Character Portfolio
Initially Golden Bear Products Limited specialised in generic plush and own brand development. They have since successfully diversified into plastic and licensed product and have a portfolio, which boasts most of the UK and International licenses.
Expansion
Golden Bear Operates from its headquarters in Telford, Shropshire. The 5-acre site houses not only the Golden Bear offices but also a modern warehouse and distribution facility of 74,000 sq. ft. 2001 saw the opening of the Hong Kong office which, co-ordinates production and oversees quality in the manufacture of product.
