Makka Pakka is a pat-a-cake toy who lives in a little cave, at the end of a gully, at the edge of the garden. He likes nothing more than collecting stones. He also enjoys washing and drying the faces of other toys in the garden. To do so he has a lovely big sponge and a bar of purple soap, as well as a special bellows-like face dryer, all of which he wheels around the garden on his Og-Pog. The Og-pog is a three-wheeled vehicle that he pushes around the garden, upon which he carries his sponge, uff-nuff and trumpet. It too makes a funny noise and often Makka Pakka can be heard before he can be seen in the Garden!
Because he is amongst the smallest of the characters in the garden he also has a trumpet, with which he announces his arrival to other toys.
Makka Pakka is the most independent character in the programme. He is friends with all the toys in the garden, but he happily goes about his business himself.
Makka Pakka Song:

Makka Pakka Appa Yakka Ikka akka ooo,
Hum dum Agga pang Ing ang ooo,
Makka Pakka, Akka Wakka, Mikka makka Moo!
