Toy Reviews

What the media think of our products!

"Shaun the Sheep has his very own slot on CBBC - a comic animation children's show. This cheeky character has been turned into a cuddly MP3 speaker by Golden Bear Toys. Even though from a music point of view it's a basic speaker, Shaun the Sheep is a whole heap of fun with headphones that flash pretty colours along with the music. I'm sure kids around the 6-12 range will absolutely love carrying this cuddle bucket around with their music."

  • Toyology.com - Charlie and Lola Make and PLay Jungle Playset - November 28th 2007
  • "The Charlie and Lola playset from our freinds at Golden Bear Toys is a toy we thought little of when it arrived at Toyology Towers but after we unleashed it on our testers it has us sitting up and paying plenty of attention. It comprises the two main characters from the show, a lion, tiger, odd elephant, cheeky looking monkey, crocodile and a tree all made from sturdy carboard, very colourful and glossy coated wipe-clean. Just slot them together, and try to resist joining in."

    • Toytalk.co.uk - Charlie and Lola Poseable Talking Dolls - Top Toy Award! - June 14th 2007

"Charlie and Lola is one of children’s TV’s freshest cartoons. Brilliantly written and with a deceptively simple animation style, it is one of those programmes that adults can genuinely enjoy at the same time as their children – and it appeals to a very wide age range thanks to the disparity in age between the main characters"
