Henry Hugglemonster is based on a book by the incredible Niamh Sharkey called I’m a Happy Hugglewug. The popular book was published in the UK in 2007 and within the pages we were introduced to a brand new lovable, huggable species. The book follows the lives of the Hugglewug family as they go about their everyday business, going to school, having a sing song, sliding and skipping and there are plenty of hugs and love on the bright and colourful pages too.
I’m a Happy Hugglewug is certainly worth borrowing from the library or adding to your own library at home. The book is aimed towards toddlers who are learning their first words and how to count. It’s a wonderful story that children love and it’s a good way for parents and children to see where Henry Hugglemonster originates from.
We’re still busy working on our brand new collection of Henry Hugglemonster toys. We’re getting really excited and we hope you’re too!
