Three Cheers for Clare Balding!

Clare Balding is one of the most popular sports presenters out there and her coverage of the Olympics is proving to be excellent. Golden Bear Toys are very proud that Clare has taken the Olympic mascots under her wing and featuring Pride the Lion in her commentary of the Swimming events.  The Olympics are one week old today, so far with the GB team bring us 18 medals so far, 6 Gold, 6 Silver and 6 Bronze, and the Olympic Mascots Wenlock and Mandeville along with Pride have been cheering on the teams from the sidelines all of the way....

Tonight is the Night! Will You be Watching?

The Opening Ceremony for the London 2012 Olympic Games are just a few hours away. However, a day full of events and celebration has been planned, started at 8,12 this morning. A group of bell ringers rang the Big Ben bells for over three minutes. The torch relay is making its way to the Olympic Stadium which he crowds lining the banks of te Thames as it travels on the Jubilee Barge. Tonight crowds will be watching Stereophonics Snow Patrol, Duran Duran and Paolo Nutini in Hyde Park and the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh are hosting a reception at Buckingham...

Wenlock Pops Up in Holby City, Did You See Him?

Did you watch Holby City last night? The popular hospital drama on BBC1 featured a few nods towards the London Olympics, did you spot any? There was an Olympian Porter wearing an Official Olympic t-shirt, a patient was asked if they would be watching but best of all our Wenlock pen also had its time in the spotlight, much to the delight of Wenlock himself.
