Playtime has been a key activity in our Telford-based office for over 40 years now and we are proud to have created many amazing toys from some of the most iconic and historic brands such as Teletubbies, Thomas the Tank Engine, Noddy, Bagpuss, Sooty & Sweep to name but a few!

We are searching for a Warehouse Administrator to be based out of our office/warehouse in Telford.

 

Role Objective

This hands-on role will be responsible for the smooth running of all warehouse administration as well as some manual work and customer service. You will also support the Warehouse Administration Supervisor and Warehouse Supervisor, as required adhering to company procedures and operating within health and safety guidelines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Organisation and completion of daily warehouse administration tasks
  • Support with details for any customer service queries
  • Controlling orders and ensuring the product is delivered on time, and in full
  • Creation of stock conversions on the ERP system
  • Printing of labels for customer orders
  • Support with controling Chep pallets and standard pallet levels and costs
  • Ordering the most cost effective transport to support with hitting warehouse budgets
  • Support with price checking and ordering consumables when stocks are low
  • Liaise with other departments with a one team mentality
  • Support the printing of pick notes and delivery notes
  • Support with training of new agency staff and all other employees where necessary
  • Operate a simple and effective filing system
  • Adherence to all company procedures and the completion of our online BCARM health and safety training

 

Key Capabilities

  • At least 2 years administration experience
  • Computer literate - MS Office suite and capability to learn new systems/software
